About SERAPHI: Australian-Designed Earrings & Interchangeable Charms
SERAPHI is an Australian jewellery brand based in Sydney, designing hypoallergenic earrings and interchangeable charms in real 18k gold vermeil and 92.5% sterling silver. We’ve been trading for 2 years and ship Australia-wide, and to the USA, Canada, New Zealand and the UK.
Who’s behind SERAPHI
Hi, I’m Belinda! I run SERAPHI with my fiancé Curtis, and we started it for a simple reason: I was tired of constantly buying new earrings. I loved the idea of interchangeable charms, where one great pair of hoops can change with your mood, your outfit and the occasion.
I was also fed up with poor quality earrings that fade, tarnish or irritate your ears. So we set out to make something better: real gold vermeil and sterling silver, designed in Australia and made to be worn and swapped.
What are interchangeable earrings?
Interchangeable earrings are hoops designed to carry charms you can add, remove and swap. Our Signature Bold Huggie Hoops look great on their own, or you can loop on a gemstone, birthstone or pearl charm to change your look in seconds. Our bundle kits bring a pair of hoops and a pair of charms together, so you can start wearing them straight away and add more charms as you go.
Are SERAPHI earrings hypoallergenic?
Yes. Our gold vermeil and sterling silver earrings are hypoallergenic, so they’re gentle on sensitive ears. They’re also finished with an electrophoretic e-coating.
What is gold vermeil?
Gold vermeil is a real layer of gold over sterling silver. Ours is 18k gold, 2.5 microns thick, over 92.5% sterling silver. Read our full guide to gold vermeil.
Are the gemstones real?
Our gemstone charms use a mix of natural and lab-created stones, mainly natural. Read more in our post on real vs lab-grown gemstones.
How our pieces are made
Our pieces are made by artisans who are SMETA (Sedex) and RJC certified.
Looking after your jewellery
Our pieces are tarnish resistant, but like all sterling silver they can tarnish over time. Please take them off for swimming, bathing and showering, and store them somewhere dry, like our Voyager Jewellery Travel Case.
Our warranty
Every SERAPHI piece comes with a 12-month warranty covering material defects and workmanship.
